Yirgacheffe Mamo Kacha
Coffee from the Abyssinian Empire
The Momo Kacha Yirgacheffe from Ethiopia impresses with its floral, fruity, delicately bitter taste. It has a small amount of fine acidity and is very aromatic. His body is rather strong. Yirgacheffe is one of the most famous coffees from Ethiopia and is named after its growing region in the south of the country. Like almost all Ethiopian coffees, Yirgacheffe is planted by many small farmers whose coffee gardens are smaller than one hectare. This has the advantage that each individual coffee tree can be cared for with the greatest attention. Ethiopia's coffee trade, which began here in the 9th century, is governed by the Ethiopia Coffee Marketing Corporation (ECMC), which controls much of the export market.
The Yirgacheffe is washed during preparation. This method can only be used with the best varieties, as uneven size or ripeness of the beans can cause irregularities that can affect the taste experience in the cup at home.
Always store the coffee beans in the absence of oxygen! Best in our bag. This can be stored separately in a food storage container.
