Malawi, located between Tanzania and Zimbabwe , produces very fine African coffees.
What particularly caught our attention was the Pamwamba AA Plus . It is Rain Frost Alliance certified . As a result, an improvement in yields is achieved through appropriately sustainable cultivation. This in turn immediately improves the economic situation of the farmers . AA Plus typically refers to African screening , i.e. the largest and most even sorting.
A slightly darker roast gives the coffee dark chocolate accents with slightly fruity notes of blackberry and caramel. This is particularly noticeable when preparing filter coffee. But this character also came into its own with French Press/Bodum, with additional nutty aromas.
Always store the coffee beans in the absence of oxygen! Best in our bag. This can be stored separately in a food storage container.
You can freeze ground coffee very well and take it out in portions.
