Ebano Verde is a rare and unique coffee that ripens on fertile volcanic soil in the southwestern part of the country, in the Barahona region . The coffee plantations are located at an altitude of 1200-1500 m above sea level. The coffee ripens under ideal climatic conditions on small farms, where it is cultivated using traditional methods , which further guarantees the organic character of the product. The Dominican Republic has several growing regions. They are located in very different climatic zones: while the northern coast, especially, is tropical, with air and water temperatures of 28°C, the south is significantly cooler and has a higher probability of rainfall.
